No real gossip to report today. Moyes was spotted at Burnley vs Spurs last night but that could have been for any number of reasons. The persistant rumour of Darren Bent on loan has reared its head again, especially since ol’ Harry skitted him to the media – and of course we do need a striker so time will tell. Moyes does seem to prefer raiding the lower leagues for his new blood of course, but as far as I can tell, we still have no money to spend.

Bellefield continues to lie vacant and neglected. Sad to see. I wonder what the club will do with it now?

Apparently our red cousins may be fielding a weakened team on Sunday in the FA cup? Well if their expensive team can’t beat us then they may as well let the ressies have a go.

Jacobson played nearly 80 minutes for our reserves during the week in his first match action since the shoulder dislocation in the summer. He’ll struggle to get any first team game time though if our back 4 continue as they have been.

Everton being Everton, I expect there will be many more slow news days before the transfer window slams shut in under two weeks, but hopefully the slam will be after a new face or two have entered the Everton fold.
