According to reports on Setanta.com, the Toffees are pretty close to signing Rennes midfielder Stephane M’Bia. Moyes was chasing him for a long time last Summer before he opted to stay in France. The Rennes President has also said that M’Bia would be leaving this Summer recently.
He has also been linked with Arsenal and at only 23 he could be a good addition to our midfield. The story claims that the details have been agreed with the player but that the fee with Rennes is still to be finalised but a figure of £4m is mentioned.
