With just under 3 days left until the transfer window shuts there are numerous stories this morning about three potential new signings for the Toffees.
The first has been rumbling on for a few days and will hopefully all be concluded before the September 1st deadline. The signing of Dutch right back Johnny Heitinga would be a welcome addition especially as he can play at Centre Back also.
There has been plenty of talk about Bentley joining on loan for the season. Spurs want a sale rather than a loan deal and this morning the papers are saying that Kenwright is trying to find £10m for the deal.
The third deal could be for Real Madrid midfielder Rafael van der Vaart who is on the way out of Madrid. Potentially he could be out of our league but there is sill the loan deal for Ever Banega that hasn’t been concluded either way.
Any three of these signings could provide players for much needed positions. They will play out over the next 72 hours and who knows maybe there could be a Feliani style last minute deal that we dont know about.
