The Glasgow Evening Times have reported that Republic of Ireland international winger Aiden McGeady is set to hand in a transfer request to Everton having failed to make an impact in the Premier League.

McGeady left Celtic 5 years ago in a £12m deal to Spartak Moscow, but that deal also turned sour.

Aiden has never really cemented his place in an Everton team screaming out for pace and skill last year through form and injury problems, with many fans rounding on him after his sending off in the FA Cup at West Ham.

Thoughts Blues? Happy to see him go?
