Todays lucky winner of the red top lucky dip of Everton players to other clubs is Séamus Coleman. It seems Séamus is to join Stones, Mirallas, McCarthey, Howard and Lukaku out of the club this summer.
If the likes of the Star, S*n and Daily Fail are to be believed Séamus is off to Man Utd for anywhere between £20-£25m. Now, don’t get me wrong £25m is a lot of money for a right back, even one as good as Séamus but I still don’t think we a) should or b) will sell him.
Coleman probably had one of his most disappointing years in an Everton shirt last term, but the team as a whole never shone at all, but the attacking threat that he carries could not be easily replaced.
There have also been links with right back Sam Byram of Leeds United, leading some to believe that Coleman is going to be sold but I point to this tweet as evidence of why that just doesn’t stack up.
If you're wondering why we're buying a right back, Tony Hibbert STARTED last seasons Anfield Derby.

The Blues are also linked with another young right back in Moses Odubajo or Brentford. Odubajo was one of the star performers as the Bees made a surprise run to the Championship play-offs, and he now looks set to be playing top-flight football next term.
